About ten years ago, Phil Caton recognised that there was a need for a venue in Penrith where musicians and singers could perform live in front of an audience. The event is run by a team of volunteers, sound and stage man Tom Corda-Stanley and Chris Archer, publicity and press agent Jackie Knox, doorman-treasurer David Simpson, host Mitch Mitchelson and Players’ representative Tim Hodges.

Cea Marie, Singer Songwriter
Cea Marie has been making music for many moons with various bands and fellow musicians.  Some of these experiences have been wonderful, some have been not so wonderful.  She met Jez through some remix work he did on some of hba's material and asked him if he'd produce her new album, though she had no money to pay him with and only poor jokes.  He surprisingly said yes.  Either he is crazy for saying yes or knows good music when he hears it.  Thus Cea Marie was officially  born.
